Joseph married Ann aka Nancy aka Hannah Dale, daughter of George Dale and Sarah Cox, in 1819 in Easton, Neston, Northamptonshire. (Ann aka Nancy aka Hannah Dale was born on 3 May 1795 in South Newington, Oxfordshire and died in Jan 1866 in Bloxham Oxfordshire.)
