This website records the history of one extended line of the Arlidge family
who probably began life in the English countryside some centuries ago.
Although some moved only a few miles, others emigrated to distant parts of
the world including southern Canada, the northern USA and New Zealand.
Here you will find stories of success and also of tragedy. Some became world
leaders in their field, while others did not outlive their parents and some
died very young. Indeed, some were stillborn and never given names. This is
the story of all of them.
